Missions

We believe that REACH. TEACH. SEND. is God’s plan for His Church, intended to be carried out by local churches in every corner of the world. Our missions purpose is to partner with others to establish, strengthen and expand the local church here in Southeastern Wisconsin and throughout the world. Our intent is to pursue a focused number of reciprocal relationships with ministry partners. These relationships are characterized by the ability to serve together and minister to one another as well as opportunities to be physically present with one another, both in the field and at Harvest as circumstances allow.

Mexico

We also partner with Word of Life (Palabra de Vida) Mexico, an organization dedicated to evangelization and discipleship of youth through Bible clubs, sports outreach, camp experiences, street evangelism and dramas presented in the streets and schools. In place for over 40 years, Word of Life has over 80 full time missionaries serving across Mexico. They are based on a 40-acre campground just outside the rural town of Bernal, three hours north of Mexico City and 45 minutes east of Querétaro. Harvest sends an annual team to the Word of Life camp in Bernal to encourage and work alongside the Word of Life missionaries.

Harvest partners with Church Project Querétaro (formerly Lumina) located in Juriquilla, just outside of Queretaro. For over 8 years we’ve helped sponsor the education and training of 15 pastoral residents, 6 church planters and we’ve helped plant 5 churches in Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and the United States. The vision of Church Project Queretaro is to continue to train pastors and plant churches all throughout Latin America and bilingual churches in the United States.

South Asia

In February of 2015, Harvest was able to partner with the house church movement in South Asia to bring the gospel to unreached villages. Less than 2% of these nationals claim Christianity as a religion. There are approximately 75,000 unreached villages in this region. One new church was planted in a previously unreached village during the February exploratory trip. We continue to partner with the house church movement in reaching villages with the gospel and establishing new local churches. Harvest will do this through annual short term trips. Harvest currently supports the church planting movement in this country and desires to send annual, short-term mission trips. And finally, Harvest also supports a local Hostel for youth that have come to Christ. This support allows the youth a place to live and further their educations.
